Step Ladders and Steps and Stepladders

Some general guidelines when using step ladders :

• Try to face the step ladders when in use, and always use both hands when climbing the stepladders, and when descending.
• Dont try too carry too many tools up the step ladders, and if you do, use a step ladders tool belt (any tool belt will do).
• Always keep one hand on the step ladders whilst working.
• Dont lean over with only one foot on the step ladders whilst you are using them.
• Do not leave tools on step ladders where you could trip over them.
• Never stand on the very top of the step ladders, unless they are made specifically for this purpose. 
• Do not use the rear supports of step ladders for foot holds.
• Do not lean too far over the step ladders whilst you are using them. If you think you are too far awy from the object, descend the step, move the steps, and try again.
